Marco and Giorgia are an out-of-the-ordinary couple. Giorgia has the same passion for shopping and shoes as Carrie Bradshaw. She’s incredibly sweet and shy despite her twenty plus tattoos. Marco is a former American football player, he even spent a few years in the US to follow his passion. They are both technology addicts and like contemporary style, so they did not want a classical wedding but a fun, colourful and energy-rich celebration and party.

Neon colours were just perfect for their vision.

The guests were sent gorgeous neon invitations containing a DVD with a video shot a few months before the wedding: an ironic, fun and modern way to communicate their wedding date (with fluo details of course!).

Have a look at the video here.

The ceremony took place in Italy in the Torino Town Hall where the couple live, followed by a reception held in an unusual and modern location: the oval race track on top of the Lingotto factory roof, where FIAT, the historical local automotive company, used to test its cars.

The guests enjoyed an outdoor welcome buffet on the track, and then moved inside to be served a superb four course Italian style placée dinner.

Both the inside and outside of the location were set up with black lights (Wood’s lamps) able to highlight the neon bright colours on the UV reactive accessories and decorations, all especially made and purchased for the wedding party. Even the photo booth was arranged with fluo accessories.

After dinner, the guests danced until the wee hours and were bid farewell by the spouses with little succulent plants and confetti boxes to take home.

I am very please to show you this picture gallery and the video (photo by Franco Borrelli, video by Videare).
